Video Game Accessories have always attempted to market gaming accessories, but some of those products proved to be colossal disasters, completely worthless or just awesomely bad. PSP LCD investigated some of those console peripherals, and selected six that could be the worst accessories of all gaming time.

While some of the choices just failed sales-wise and never caught on, they did pave the way for current popular products. The Nintendo Power Pad served as a predecessor to the touch pad used for the enormously popular Dance Dance Revolution. Similarly, the Nintendo Power Glove, which was laughably ridiculous at the time, is now succeeded by the motion controls of the Wii remote and nunchuk.

We just got back from a 1,000 mile road trip with our twin nearly three-year old boys. Not surprisingly, we learned a few things car dvd player.

1. Rent a car that's nicer than the one you own. We typically drive a 12 year-old Subaru (very lesbian, I know). For the trip, we rented a brand new Toyota RAV4 for the updated safety features, sound system and extra storage space. It was also good at passing trucks on the highway and gave my partner enough room to sit in the back between the boys when they needed more attention than we could give them from the front seat.

2. Bring a portable car dvd player baiteman and some new and favorite in dash car dvd player, but try to use them sparingly. We found that the DVDs worked best in the emergency situations vs. having them watch them the whole 500 mile trip. So Nemo (their favorite) allowed us to finish the last 100 miles in one day, and a few new ones that we saved for the trip home got us the last 100 miles on the way home. Also get a car charger adapter for the DVD player if you don't already have one.

3. Give them some new toys in the car, but save some new ones to introduce for the ride home. We got them these little doodle pads for the way there and beads to string with shoelaces on the way home. Both were a hit, but mainly because of the newness factor. I packed them each a little bag with other toys and crayons/paper in them, but they weren't so interested in that.

4. Keep the receipts for other travel-related purchases. I'm returning both the cool-looking (and seeming) activity lap trays and the neck pillows. We tried the pillow both before they fell asleep and after and they absolutely threw a fit -- hated them.

5. Only introduce music that you don't mind listening to the whole way. My mom gave us a very nice CD of kids songs, but now I can't get Turkey in the Straw out of my head, and they want to listen to it ALL THE TIME.

6. Be thoughtful about where you stop, if you can. I plotted out some playground options on Kaboom.org for fun places to stop, but we ended up pulling into a Tractor Supply Co. in Carlisle, PA. That was the best! The boys had a blast running around the store and each picked out miniature toy construction vehicles that kept them more occupied the whole trip than anything else we brought. Bookstores and malls are also good for places to let them get some running time in.

6a. Get gas every time you stop on a long trip, even if you have 3/4 of a tank. That way if the littles fall asleep, you don't have to stop to get gas when you're running low and risk waking them up.

7. Talk about the trip a lot before you go, including how pottying is going to work in the car. We tell the boys stories a lot, so for a couple of weeks, we told the story of going on the trip, how we'd be in the car all day, how one boy (who's now mostly potty trained) would wear a diaper in the car. I think that was the biggest key to the whole thing. They knew what to expect, and thus were pretty patient with being in the car the whole time.

8. Bring fun snacks for in the car. This is probably a given, but we brought all their favorite food in the car so there'd be plenty to snack on without having to stop.  (No grapes, though, that's a choking hazard.) We even packed our lunches and dinner so we wouldn't have to worry about finding a restaurant when everyone got hungry. At one of our gas stops, I got each boy a cup with lots of ice, watered down Hi-C and a straw. That kept them busy for 50 miles or more. (Be sure to change diapers and/or offer the potty first and soon after.)

I am a first time MP3 Video Player user..I wanted a player for books and music. I bought this product 3 weeks ago because of reviews on this site...at that time there weren't so many problems with freezing...after many hours of listening to books, this morning my player froze..My pc didn't "see" that my player was docked in so the creative fix program I downloaded wouldn't work..(it did recharge) I went back to this list and found that a wonderful person mentioned to use the reset button on the side??!! Need I say, "what reset button??" I am thrilled to say that it unfroze my player, my PC sees my player and I am listening again.
ThisMP4 Digital Player is great! It's just the right size so when you try to push a button, you don't actually press the one next to it. It's got a large screen in comparison to the size of the product which is good for Mp5 Player.

The only thing this mp3 player doesn't have is an FM radio which I have never really felt the need for. It does NOT have speaker, but you don't really need it. It's a personal device.

When viewing lists it's a lot easier to scroll through. My last one was slow so this one is great, and it's so easy to meneuver through. It holds lots of songs. I've only filled mine up about halfway (though I still have a lot of music to put on it yet), but it's got twice as much memory as my last one.

I've been really satisfied with it and it's yet to freeze up on me yet like others have said it does. I would seriously recommend this to anyone. It's cheap, but it's got a lot of value in it. You defiently get your money's worth.
The quick start papers that come with this player has limited information but I think they offered for me to download all the directions when I installed the software, (20 pages?) I love to use the bookmark feature so I can come back to where I left off in a story. If the freezing is the only problem then I will keep this player and continue to explore all the features.
